You can help raise money for your favorite non-profit organization simply by shopping at GiftCardsForACause.com. Each time you make a purchase, Gift Cards For A Cause will donate up to 17% of your order total to the non-profit organization of your choice. Here are some Things You Can Do to help raise money for your cause.
GiftCardsForACause.com works just like any other e-commerce website. As you shop, each gift card product will list what percentage of that purchase will be donated to your favorite charity organization. For example, if you purchase $100 in Macy’s gift cards, Gift Cards For A Cause will donate 7% (or $7.00) to the organization of your choice. When you are ready to checkout and pay for your purchase, you choose from our list of charities the organization you would like your donation to be sent. If your charity is not listed, you can write-in the name of your organization.
- Do I ever have to pay anything extra?
You pay only for your gift cards and a shipping and handling fee. You will never be charged any additional amount for the donation. Gift Cards For A Cause makes the donation to the charity you choose.
- What if I do not select a charity or school?
Selecting a charitable organization is required when you checkout, so this situation should not occur. However, if a charity is not indicated on the order at the time of processing, Gift Cards For A Cause will automatically be selected as the non-profit to receive your donation. All donations made to Gift Cards For A Cause are used to support the operational expenses of our organization.
- Which charities do you donate to?

- Can users donate to more than one cause?
Yes. If you would like to split your donation, you can indicate your wishes in the Customer Notes box when you are checking out.
- How can I spread the word about Gift Cards For A Cause to my friends?

- Am I paying more to shop through GiftCardsForACause.com? Is this any different than buying directly from the retailer?
There is no difference in price when you purchase retail gift cards from GiftCardsForACause.com. You pay face value for the gift card plus shipping and handling. The gift cards can be used at the retailer on regular and sale priced items. Please be aware that each retail supplier may have their own terms and conditions for using their gift cards.
- Do all purchases qualify for a donation?
Not all purchases qualify for a donation. Each gift card product will indicate if a donation is available and how much the donation is. We include non-qualifying products to ensure we are offering a full range of gift card choices to our customers.
- How will I know how much is being donated?
Once your order has been processed, Gift Cards For A Cause will send you a confirmation letter confirming the amount of the donation generated from your order and the organization chosen to receive the donation. Your confirmation will be sent within 72 hours of receipt of your order.

If your order was shipped:
First Class Mail - Orders typically take between 5 - 7 days for delivery, but allow as much as 21 days, depending on where your order is being shipped. If you have not received your order after 21 days, please contact our customer service department.
Priority Mail - Most orders arrive within 2-3 days. If you have not received your order after 5 days, please contact our customer service department.
Neither DCI Incentives nor Gift Cards For A Cause is responsible for certificates not received due to incorrect address information provided on your order.

Contact our customer service department and we will be happy to assist. You will need your order number, retailer name and the gift card number.

- Where does the money come from?
Gift Cards For A Cause receives special pricing from our retail partners when we purchase gift cards in bulk. This allows us to give the difference back to non-profit organizations to help support their cause.
- What types of organizations are eligible to participate?
We support a broad spectrum of 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. While these organizations may support efforts around the world, we support only those who operate from within the
United States.
- How can I add a charity to your list?

- How long will it take for my organization to be verified and posted in the database?
It usually takes a couple of days for us to verify the information submitted and add your charity or school into our database. We'll send you our welcome email as soon as it has been approved. With so many new organizations applying daily, we thank you for your patience!
Donation checks are issued quarterly, provided the donation balance due an organization is $25 or more at the end of the current quarter. If the organization has earned less than $25, the funds will be carried over to the next quarter until the balance reaches the minimum of $25.
